Welcome! Brown Dog Acres is a small family owned and operated farm and dog retreat
located on beautiful Sauvie Island in Portland, Oregon. We offer personalized dog
retreat services, a line of All Natural Dog Bones (see Benny's Biscuits), naturally raised
pork and farm fresh eggs.

Benson aka "Benny" is one of those special dogs...the
kind that people who really don't like dogs still
love. He's been our first "child", co-worker,
entertainer to our three rambunctious boys and
supervisor of our small dog retreat, Brown Dog Acres.
Benny has also inspired Benny's Biscuits , our line
of All Natural Dog Bones. He's given so much to
us...it's the least we can do for him!

Gunner is a Sauvie Island native and our resident dog
